Ministries
Youth

FourTwelve is our ministry to parents and teens in middle
and high school. Our name comes from 1 Timothy 4:12, "Let
no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an
example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." In
a culture that says youth is a season of life to be wasted on
living only for ourselves, we see that Jesus has called us to
much more. Christ calls and empowers us to know Him and
be transformed into His image - even at a young age.

The result: we play hard, but we don't only play; we serve
others, we think about matters of eternity, we watch what we
feed our minds; we honor our bodies, our friends, and our
parents. And we love our church. We refuse to be conformed
to this world.
Monthly Meetings

We have lots of fun together at our monthly meetings - spending time together, singing, teaching from,
and interacting with, God's Word in a way that helps make application to real life.

Our meetings are typically the 4th Saturday of the month at 7:00p (though occasionally the event is
moved to a different Saturday).

Here are the dates for our upcoming meetings at 7pm @ St. Paul's Presbyterian Church:
- August 28
- September 18
- October 23
- November 20

Ministry Philosophy
Our approach to youth ministry is parent-driven in keeping with the command in Scripture for parents to "bring
[their children] up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4 ESV). The pastors come alongside
parents to equip, support, and encourage them in this all-important pursuit.

Because of this, our youth events include participation from both parents and their children. In this way, parents
are able to help their children apply the biblical teachings that are presented at the meetings and events.

The central component of our youth ministry is teaching from God's Word. Our culture continually shapes the
thinking of our young people. Whether through movies, video games, music, peers, school, or any other means, our
youth receive messages that are humanistic, do not reflect the teaching or values of Scripture and can cause many
temptations. But we are not powerless. Christ overcame the world. Through Him and in Him, we can at any age,
young or old, overcome.
