Outreach Prayer Night: Sunday, September 26 Join us as we come before God asking for strengthening, faith, boldness, wisdom and love so that our efforts to reach others with the gospel will result in changed lives, maturity in the faith, and glory to God. The prayer meeting will be held at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church at 6pm on Sunday, September 26. Ladies' Meeting: Wednesday, September 29 Why are we not more prayerful? When we see Paul's exhortation in Scripture to "pray without ceasing" we often wonder, "How can this be?" During our time together, we will learn how our lack of prayer reveals a lack of faith in God, and we will marvel at God's eager desire to answer our prayers. The meeting will be held at the Church of the Messiah at 7pm. Feel free to invite your friends. Resurgence: Friday-Sunday, October 8-10 This year we're having a church wide retreat at Lakewood Retreat in Brooksville, FL. The family fun will begin Friday, October 8th, in the evening and will conclude Sunday, October 10th, at around Noon (our regular service at Lakeview Middle School will not take place). Please mark your calendars now and check back soon for more details! Christmas Party: Friday, December 10 (for age 18 & older) Save the date! As the year comes to a close, we will celebrate together God's goodness to us as a church not only throughout 2010 but also through the coming of His Son. |
